One of the leading automobile manufacturers initiated a change program to streamline processes in electrics/electronics. During the course of the 4-year project more than 400 internal and external staff members were involved. change FACTORY was asked to both support the entire rollout (stakeholder and target group analysis, rollout monitoring, expert coaching, etc.) by means of a concept and accompany supporting communication measures (workshops, info events, media coverage, target group interviews, etc.).
- Rebuilding the development and interaction processes of electrical/electronic components of a vehicle within a system-oriented overall process to drastically reduce proneness to errors and along with it cut warranty cost in this area.
- The redesigned E/E development process was implemented throughout all areas of the company.
- Warranty cost could be reduced by factor 4.
- Due to numerous communication measures the far-reaching changes in the company were received positively by all parties concerned and accepted accordingly.
- The failure rate in new car deliveries was reduced drastically and sustainably.
